Project Overview:
ITRCC desires to hire a responsible contractor to replace all underground lighting feeds for all 29 Cobra Head (CH) and 3 High Mast (HM) light structures at the Willow Creek Toll Plaza (mile marker 23), 14 Cobra Head and 4 High mast light structures at Portage Barrier Toll Plaza (mile marker 24), 6 High Mast light structures at the Valparaiso Toll Plaza (mile marker 31), and 6 High Mast light structures at the Michigan City Toll Plaza (mile marker 39).

Project Overview:
The Str 22-3 Bridge Rehabilitation consultant services project will include conducting consultant procurement, final engineering and construction oversight services related to the rehabilitation of Str 22-3 (MM 56.1) in Rolling Prairie, Indiana. The work under these services consists of development of Plans, Specifications and Estimates (P, S &E) including an Issued for Bid (IFB) Package, Issued for Construction (IFC) Package, and Construction Oversight Services.

The project generally includes bridge rehabilitation for the overhead structure that includes substructure repairs, steel repairs/painting and a new deck. Additional services

Project Overview:
This Project involves the installation of a fire suppression system at the Westpoint, Portage, and Eastpoint Toll Plazas utilizing the attached mechanical and electrical designs but allows for each bidder to approach the project using their own unique system or standard system available in the marketplace.

This is a turn-key project which means the winning bidder is responsible for all aspects of the projects, from procurement, permits (if needed), coordination with local fire agencies for concurrence on approach, as well as integration into ITRCC’s fiber network with controls both local to each plaza, and at the administration building Traffic Management Center (TMC).

Coordination with ITRCC’s IT department will be necessary to ensure all data and network security requirements are met, which are attached to this Invitation for Bid (IFB).

The system, once deployed, shall detect a vehicle fire while alerting ITRCC staff and simultaneously engaging the suppression system to minimize the fire and damage to ITRCC property.

This project includes MM 10 to MM 156.6. This will include all guardrails. Removal of old reflectors and installation of new ones. Every 50’ on straightaways and every 25’ on curves. Per (MUTCD) 2009 Edition Chapter 3F Delineators.

Project Overview:
The MM10-20 Preservation Project consultant services project will include conducting consultant procurement, final engineering and construction oversight services related to the rehabilitation of the I- 80/90 Corridor from MM10-20. The work under these services consists of development of Plans (Roll Plots and standard details), Specifications and Estimates (P, S &E) including an Issued for Bid (IFB) Package, Issued for Construction (IFC) Package, and Construction Oversight Services.

The project generally includes 10 corridor miles of pavement rehabilitation, 2 Interchange ramps rehabilitation, EXIT 14A & 14B, and various other enhancements (pavement markings, fencing, guardrail, and terminal joints). The pavement rehabilitation is assumed to be a 2-inch mill & fill of all 6 lanes and shoulder in the 10-mile corridor. The ITR has selected 6 bridges to be included within the project. The bridge scope will be limited in nature to repairing PCF joints and/or replacing failed SS joints with PCF joints. There is also a one-mile segment of PCCP that will require isolated patching and profile grooving/grinding.

ITRCC desires to place MGS guardrail, and end treatments at approximately one-hundred thirty eight (138) locations along the corridor at bridge pier overpasses; 62 eastbound and 76 westbound locations. The design of these locations are to meet INDOT standard drawing E601-GRBS. ITRCC also desires to have the deficient crash barrels replaced in such that the locations comply with INDOT standard drawing E601-IAED

ITRCC is a privately owned company that operates and maintains the Indiana Toll Road. ITRCC desires to remove the existing barrier wall adjacent to the westbound and eastbound outside shoulders from MM 24.3 to MM 24.8 and replace it with thrie beam guardrail, thrie beam guardrail transitions, and end treatments. Slope stabilization will be required at various locations along the side slopes where the barrier wall will be removed. ITRCC desires to remove the existing cable barrier along the eastbound median shoulder from MM 24.3 to MM 33.5 and replace it with new MGS guardrail, MGS guardrail transitions, and end treatments. MGS guardrail, MGS guardrail transitions, and end treatments will also be installed along the westbound median shoulder from MM 24.3 to MM 33.5.

The work includes all steps, items, and materials necessary to complete the Scope of Work in accordance with the 2022 INDOT Standard Specifications, the 2022 INDOT Standard Drawings, the Special Provisions, and the IFB. The contractor shall provide all Maintenance of Traffic in accordance with the IMUTCD, INDOT, and ITRCC standards.

The PUSH 4.0 consultant services project will include conducting consultant procurement, final engineering and construction oversight services related to the rehabilitation of the I- 80/90 Corridor from MM123-157. The work under these services consists of development of Plans, Specifications and Estimates (P, S &E) including an Issued for Bid (IFB) Package, Issued for Construction (IFC) Package, and Construction Oversight Services.

The project generally includes 34 corridor miles of pavement rehabilitation, 1 Interchange rehabilitation, Eastpoint Toll Plaza, and various bridge rehabilitations. The project will be conducted under preventative maintenance designation with INDOT and will not include roadway widening or cross slope modifications of the existing pavement, other than those deemed necessary by review of the ARIES crash data for the proceeding 3-year period. Bridges with deck replacements will be widened to match the approach shoulder width.

The work includes all steps, items, and materials necessary to complete the Scope of Work in accordance with current National Electrical Code Standards, International Building Code, INDOT standards and specifications, the Special Provisions, and the IFB.

ITRCC desires to have a contractor to perform installation of two (2) new natural gas-powered generators while maintaining existing transfer switches (both provided by ITRCC) at the Cline Avenue and Valparaiso Toll Plazas along the Indiana Toll Road. The work includes all steps, items and materials necessary to complete the Scope of Work in accordance with current National Electrical Code Standards, International Building Code, INDOT standards and specifications, the Special Provisions, and the IFB.

ITRCC desires to contract with a general contractor for turnkey project management in the oversight and procurement of repairs and replacements of various roofs along the Indiana Toll Road. The contractor is responsible for project management, having repairs made, and coordination/oversight. ITRCC desires to add acceleration/deceleration lanes along the Toll Road at Maintenance Units at the noted mile makers to provide improved access from the Toll Road to the maintenance facility as identified within the Scope of Work and Roadway Plans attached to this IFB. ITRCC desires to engage a knowledgeable consultant with a background in Business Continuity Plan’s (“BCP”) and Disaster Recovery Plans (“DRP”), collectively referred hereto as “BCP” to work with our emergency management and general staff in the revision and expansion of our current BCP/DRP document. In order to properly convey the business need and to allow consultant’s the opportunity to fully understand the desired direction, a pre-bidding workshop will be scheduled with each bidder. Prior to the meeting, a copy of the 2020 version of the BCP will be provided for reference and to help facilitate the conversation.

ITRCC desires to engage a knowledgeable consultant with a background in transportation engineering and roadside safety feature design. The project will consist of preparing plans, specifications and estimates for the replacement of our existing TL-4, four cable, Cable Rail Barrier System. The system consists of 36,785 LF of cable rail that is located in Porter County, IN from MM 24.3 to MM 33.4

ITRCC is requesting a contractor to replace the current back gate and openers at five Maintenance Barns located on the Indiana Toll Road. Work includes all steps, items and materials necessary to complete the Scope of Work in accordance with current INDOT standards and specifications, the Special Provisions, and the IFB. Contractor shall provide all Maintenance of Traffic in accordance with IMUTCD, INDOT, and ITRCC standards. ITRCC requests bids from responsible contractors.

Work includes all steps, items and materials necessary to complete the Scope of Work in accordance with current INDOT standards and specifications, the Special Provisions, and the IFB. Contractor shall provide all Maintenance of Traffic in accordance with IMUTCD, INDOT, and ITRCC standards. ITRCC requests bids from responsible contractors.

ITRCC reserves the right to modify, change, add or delete any location during the solicitation period and up to the issuance of a contract.
